Charna nudged the male in a friendly gesture. SHe hoped it would not be taken the wrong way - she just hated seeing the light of sorrow enter another wolf's eyes. He looked around, presumably for someone. Charna waited with a baited breath and a giddy expression upon her face.

Maiara waited patiently as each of the onlookers realized that they were to disperse from the scene and watched as each of them walked off elsewhere.
"Now then..." she began, pausing distractedly as a potentially awkward situation caught her eye; Soran, Spirit and Mahina were conversing off in a corner, and she couldn't help but feel a stir of pity for the male caught between Scylla and Charybdis. Which of course was not to demean the two females, but to describe the slight discomfort that such a get-together must cause for the three, or two of them at least. Naturally Maiara wasn't usually one to assume things, but, from her point-of-view of what it must be like in Soran's point-of-view, he was stuck there trying to sort out his thoughts while talking to his mate, or former mate, whichever they chose, and Spirit, in which case--Maiara didn't kid herself--she knew there was definitely something going on there that went unspoken. She shook her head softly, tisking under her breath. This wouldn't do, poor Soran couldn't know what to do with himself, could he?
"I apologize Slate, I'll be back in just a moment, I need to deal with something." she told the loner quickly, padding silently over to where the trio sat talking, overhearing just a snippet of conversation.
"What was that about a blind spot?" Maiara inquired with a friendly grin, looking to Mina and Spirit, "How is everyone? I'm afraid I'm going to have to borrow Soran for just a moment here, but don't worry I won't take too long," she continued in an embarrasingly maternal tone. She took a moment to laugh at herself, realizing that Pallatsera must have rubbed off on her a little after all. She looked at Soran, smiling knowingly, repressing the urge to wink as though she knew something he did not. "Come on then!" she said, nudging his side away from the two females, and looking back over her shoulder, "He's such a catch isn't he?" she laughed. It was a wonder how spontaneous such needs to meddle were. And how gleefully fun it was.

(Maiara is finally sticking her nose where it doesn't belong! Yay for odd phases!)

Soran opened his mouth to reply to Mahina when he heard the familiar Maternal tone of the Alpha behind him. Turning his head, he caught site of the sandy colored female, with a superior and slightly humorous tone as she spoke. The male scrambled to his paws as she hurriedly nudged him away from Spirit and Mina, feeling confused and slightly suspicious. He resisted the urge to ask her right then and there of her true intentions, but instead followed his friend through the thicket.

Spirit sat slightly dumbfounded as Maiara and Soran walked away. She didn't exactly know what it was all for but it made her feel slightly uncomfortable.

As the Alpha and Delta disappeared into the undergrowth the words Maiara had left with seemed to hang in the air around her. She turned to look at Mahina, trying to read the she-wolfs expression for a clue to what was going on.

Mahina sat in silence as Maiara and Soran vanished out of earshot and eye sight. Maiara's words hung in the air like fog, and it really stole into the female's thoughts. As Soran was led away, she fancied she caught a look of confusion on his features. When she caught Spirit's gaze, the female could do nothing but shrug, for there was really no answer she could dig out.

As soon as Maiara and Soran had walked a significant enough distance away, the alphess halted, up to her chest in tangled shrubbery that caught at her fur. Her face changed quickly from a facetious expression to one more serious and concerned.
"I'm not going to bother beating around the bush, not to make a pun out of this of course," she began, permitting herself a short laugh once she realized that she'd made a joke without intending to. "But you're in over your head. And don't try to deny it, you can't lie to me, I know you too well." she said to him quietly, keeping her voice down just in case. "I know you seemed to be talking an awful lot to Spirit once Mahina left. And now that she's back, well, I don't know what terms you two are on. I know that it must have hurt a lot, but I don't know how you stand on that. And with mating season coming up...I don't want anyone to get hurt, and I don't want to get in the middle of this...well that's a lie, I do, what would you do without me? Anyhow, even if it might seem hard, you need to make a solid decision and not leave such a confusing, tangled mess of your love life for those two to sit in. What I really mean, is that you can talk to me if you're having a hard time dealing with all of this," she finished sincerely, hoping that she'd gotten her point across without being too blunt towards any parties involved, and without confusing Soran too much either, she found herself retracing her words for a moment, becoming a little lost herself.

Soran was taken aback by the alphess' outburst, and he felt his throat sticking together as he tried to form a valid response. The situation had changed too dramatically for him to handle, and he began to shuffle around the brush awkwardly. “Maiara.. I.” He replied, his words sounding weak, but just loud enough to be heard. “I don’t know. Truly..” He said, still trying to recall recent outburst. Feeling a little lost, he glanced behind his shoulder, but the forest was as still as stone as if waiting for a real answer to be spoken. A small sigh escaped his muzzle, lying at this point wouldn’t be worth the effort, especially if the sandy colored female already knew so much. “It was a relief to see them disperse.” He replied, his tone rather blunt and expressionless. “To see Cherokee, Faylon, and Atita; off to complete their own lives and learn from new experiences as their mother wished. But I feel as if I couldn’t fulfill all that she had asked me to do. The only reason she left them in my care was because pups need two parents to raise them, and she couldn’t provide what they needed. Mahina and I promised we’d raise them together.” He finished, allowing what he had just said to hover in the air for a moment.

Falco yawned looking around, he stretched his paws out and yawned a second time. His tainted white coat gleamed in the current light, his green eyes staring out into the distance. The hunter lost track of what was going on and zoned out calmly daydreaming. His coat swayed lightly in the breeze as his thoughts rushed through his mind, imaginations appearing here and there.

(Sorry I haven't been on a lot lately Razz I'm just packing up my things because I'm going back to Japan soon! Once I'm settled in I'll be a lot more active :D)

Shirota woke up from his long slumber. He slept too long when he went into deep sleep. Slowly, he regained his posture and began to observe his surroundings. Falco went about his business he seemed to have been sleeping, just as Shirota had. Maiara and Soran were having a deep and intense discussion.

Shirota left all three wolves to themselves and took it upon himself to record his surroundings. The changing colours for autumn time, the slight yet bitter wind and the dull sky, which had begun it's dark and grey period. The wolf nodded to himself and sat on the damp ground, unsure of what to do next.

Faith stared at the wolves, her head hung low towards the ground. She turned away from the group off away towards the woods. All this talk about death love and hope, made her think. Her past, home and family vanished from her thoughts as she let out a sigh

Ninja went over to Shirota and lied down. He was the only member that he was actually sorta close to. Him and Mahina. Of course, he knew of most of the pack, but when it comes to trusting someone, he could only have that with a few wolves. He sat down next to him and sighed, wagging his tail slightly.

His eyes were locked to the ground, unsure on who to talk with since he didn't know anyone. Instead the titan sauntered off and went to sit down by himself. Pawing at the dirt lightly.

Derek spotted Shadow, Ninja and Shirota, three newer members, in his mind, that he had yet to make their acquaintance so deciding to kill two birds with one stone he nudged Charna and padded over to where the three sat. "Greetings" He spoke, over the past few months he had not realized he had gotten so formal.

(I guess i can give you three something to do, if you wish.)

Charna followed silently after Derek, happy to be able to meet others of the pack. Seeing that the male from the previous squall was there, she simply nodded in greeting. Her spectral eyes gleamed in a playful manner. The three looked absolutely bored, so she hoped they wouldn't freak out.

Faith looked over towards the group of wolves consisting of Derek Ninja Shirota and Charna. With a small toothy grin, she trotted ever so quietly towards the group. Stopping at a near by oak tree, hiding too scared to see what would happen. Only her pure white ears stood out from the tree, "Hi..." she said almost in a whisper.

Faith still stood behind the small oak tree. She watched as Ninja walked off, with a tilt of her cranium. Her breaths were deep and quiet, her banner swayed back and forth, almost wagging.

Charna's ears laid back as, nearly as soon as she and her "escort" had arrived, one of the wolves left. A small whimper escaped her throat as she asked in a small voice, "did I do something wrong?" In this moment, she felt small and insignificant - the reason she strived to be peppy all the time. Running around with your tail between your legs was like life without a sun for her. She looked at Derek, terrified to the core of her soul for the answer.

Lifting up his head and looking around, he spotted around 5 (give or take) wolves, and decided it would be best to make some friends. Slowly lifting himself up, Insomnia carefully made his way over towards them, just to sit in the background and wait.
Lowering his gaze to the floor once more, so they wouldn't be able to make eye contact.

Faith spotted another wolf walking towards the group. she looked at him, almost trying to figure out something. It was time for her to stop being shy, and meet and make friends. Faith looked down at the ground as she approached the brute, named Insomnia. She made no attempt to make eye contact. "Hello" she said trying to find her voice.

His reply was blunt and his head didn't turn to look at the female "Hello, who are you?"
The male wasted no time on the introductions but his head finally turned slightly, to look her up and down. Insomnia lowered onto his haunches and waited silently for her answer

Faith took in a deep low breath "Faith...im Faith, who are you?" she asked. Her luminaries made no attempt to look at the brute. She could never make eye contact, something she couldnt really do. Faith pawed the earth below her, making a small dent in the terrain.

Journey to the Blood Stained Home - Page 15 Empty Re: Journey to the Blood Stained Home

Post by Silver May 21st 2011, 8:09 pm

After a long, tiring walk Silver began her short journey back to the main den. She had scouted all around the area in a large radius, and had a detailed map in her mind of the area as well as the herbs. Feeling tired and spent, she didn't even bother to run, which made her journey an estimated time of two hours.

A small rustling made her ears perk, and her eyes focused on a small, thin, brown snake slithering before her. It was thin, obviously not venomous. Her curiosity bested her, and she figured, it was only about a foot and a third long. Lowering her head, she peered at the snake curiously. It stopped and stared at her, and then continued on it's way. Amused, she continued on, feeling a replenishing vigor wash over her as she trudged forward and weaved in no discernible pattern around the underbrush and the bases of the trees.

After what seemed like an eternity, she stepped into the den site with a yawn, and padded randomly into the small clearing. Plopping down and curling into a ball of long arctic fur, she let her dreams take her.

Silver walked through the forest. It was oddly colored, bright and deep rays of green and yellow flew through the trees as if they had wings, lighting her path. She was content, laughing, undisturbed. Until she heard a roar, and turned to see an oversized bear plundering toward her. Yelping in fright, she plunged forward. But it was slow motion, no matter how fast she stepped she was hardly moving. Growling in effort, she whipped around to face the large black form, where it's eyes should have been there were red glowing orbs.
If that thing can glow, so can I! She thought, and a brightness illuminated her coat and burned the bear into nonexistence. After a bright white light entered her vision, the light was replaced with wings, and she flew off in a marvelous display of acrobatics.

Journey to the Blood Stained Home - Page 15 Empty Re: Journey to the Blood Stained Home

Post by Guest May 21st 2011, 8:12 pm

(Sorry I haven't been on lately. I was just moving back over to Japan and settling in. I'll be more active from now :D)

Shirota flickered one eye open. It was way too noisy to even attempt to sleep. There was too many wolves around, chattering. Shirota turned his coal head around to see if there was any point moving a little further away from the group, but unfortunately - there wasn't. Too many wolves. That was the problem. The tall, dark male stood up instead and began to wander around. There was a few wolves he has never met before.

A slightly small yet slim and colourful fae that held a certain pride in herself. She seemed content and joyful. Shirota was slightly envious of her, he had never known to be so happy and upbeat. He always seemed either depressed or angry. But this was only because he didn't say much, if anything at all. He was a wolf of few words, you could say.

A another fae, dark yet seemingly still has happy as the other. Yet this one had a certain je ne sais quoi about her. Something mystical, something unfathomable that it was hard to even try and deconstruct her.

Shirota turned his head away from the female and turned his head to the male instead. The white wolf took Shirota's breath away in surprise. White dog. the male growled at him in his mind. He couldn't possibly say something so atrocious out loud. Shirota was even shocked to hear himself think it. Quickly, he took the statement back within his mind. He couldn't let past experiences interfere with his present. It wasn't fair on the newcomer.

Years ago, white wolves had taken everything from him. His home, his family and his friends. They drove him from his life and forced him into the wilderness. Shirota could never forgive them, not now, not after they had taken so much but given so little.
I thought. I thought I was beyond this... But I'm not. I've waited to long, lost too much...

It took everything in him not to turn and run from the brute. The memories alone were just too much to bear. And Shirota could no longer stand the effort of holding them. It was time to settle things. Get over his 'fear' once and for all. But he just sat up, and stayed where he was. The wolf made no attempt to move. Not yet.
