Re: Changes for the Pack
I'll work up some Hawaiian translations, those normally sound really good when put together. Don't worry, they will be nice ones (Not my common insult "Okole" which means donkey XD)

Re: Changes for the Pack
Alright. Sadly, there is no word for banish, but a similar word is Kapu. It means to forbid from a place (If you ever watch Lilo and Stitch, her door has a sign that says Kapu) and winds is Ka'a. So,
Kapu Ka'a Ohana
Ohana is a very strong word for family. If you ever live in Hawaii like I did, you would see that without many relatives near you really get attached and bond with the people there. If we use this name, we could also interpret hawaiian ranks. Ali'i means chief, which could be used for alpha. There are others, but I had Hawaiian history last back a while ago and need to research to find them again. Here are some random words I know, from the top of my head.
Ku'uipo - Sweetheart
Palaka - Plaid
Ehu - Highlights
Ono - yummy, good tasting
Akamai - smart
Okole - Donkey
Puka - Hole
(Yes, I use all three of those words.)
Mahalo - Thank you
Aloha - Hello, goodbye
And others but getting these from bare memories is hard! Excuse my double post, I wanted this to be seperate because it is a completely different statement and editing posts tends to go unnoticed at times. And at a last note, Ku'uipo (My kitten) is staring at the screen and my typing so we can assume she says hello.

Re: Changes for the Pack
I like "Kapu Ka'a Ohana" Linny
Good luck remembering the ranks, or words we could use for them

Re: Changes for the Pack
It's not remembering, it's fishing for the old hawaiian history book I thought I had or lots and lots of googling. ^_^ Thanks though, I think it would be cool to not only have a name from a less popular language but also rather than "Pack" have "Ohana". We're not a group, we are most definitely a family!

Re: Changes for the Pack
That's not good Gale...I don't think I prevented you from sending P's or anything, but I will check just in case. If the problem continues you can always send me them on WQ or e-mail.
Re: Changes for the Pack
Tomorrow I will be starting on the new site...as well as adding up a poll for pack names. So please get all suggestions in by tomorrow afternoon. I count the afternoon as 3-4pm central standard time! ^-^
Re: Changes for the Pack
Eh, I can't do it...I thought I could but I just can't...BWP is made up of so much history that I can't force myself to change names or websites. Though we can still change rank stuff and you may still change characters if you wish.
Re: Changes for the Pack
That's your decision, Crimson and I will stand by it.

Re: Changes for the Pack
Heh, well I'm glad you are so torn up about it! XD
However like I said I would still like some help with a few things such as getting new ranks.
Though I believe for the most part we will stick with our original ones...we still have a few from something I ask for a long time ago so I know I will finally get the rank of Brawler out there and stuff!
And the new territories will be introduced soon as well!

Re: Changes for the Pack
*cheers* Yay, we're still good old BWP
(not that I would have minded changing if we had to, but continuity is nice)
Looking forward to see how Crim works out as a leader

Re: Changes for the Pack
If you'd like, I could lend a helping hand for the pack site. As a mentioned before, I consider myself to be rather skilled with Forumotion.
