Silver's sun soon faded abruptly and was replaced by Falco, chewing her ear and growling playfully. Laughing, she swatted his front paw and caused him to tumble next to her, where she got up and stood with her paws on his chest.

"Pinned you!" She said, smiling at him.
(I'm having an odd flashback at lion king... xD)

Rune mumbled his agreement before forcing himself to roll onto his feet again. "I believe my schedule is all clear for the next two or three days. So I believe during this time is when we should set off, but before we do would you mind finding Soran, Karma, and Derek for me?" He asked though he did not let on to the reason he needed all three of these wolves.

Kira listened intently to Rune's words. "Sure thing" she said, trotting off to find the others. Gradually, she went to Karma, Derek, and Soran and told them about Rune needing them.

He laughed at her shock of the tackle and his laughter was soon replaced with a gaping mouth at the shock that Silver pinned him! It happened so quick he didn't know what was going on. Next thing he knew she was standing on his chest looking down on him with a wicked grin "Pinned you!" she tormented him. He squirmed under her grip and tried to flip her off but couldn't. So he relaxed and smiled back then nipped her on the nose and laid back staring up at her.

(Now that you mention it, I am having the same flashback to lion king! rofl XD)

Silver smiled and then stepped off, watching him carefully for any sign of fast movement. Her green eyes flickered for a moment. Her tail cutting through the air and distributing a small snow like shedding, as the days passed she was getting ever-so-fluffy with the coming of winter. It was even longer than some, due to her being an arctic wolf.

Falco smiled as she stepped off him. He slowly and almost drunkenly got to his paws. It was all just an act of course. He smiled at his thoughts and darted quickly before Silver could react and nipped at her heels and took off in the opposite direction running. The hunter covered the ground quickly in long strides, hoping that Silver wouldn't catch him up.

Silver, in a thrum of paw steps, thundered forward like a bat out of heck after Falco. She covered the ground in short, quick strides with lots of air time in between her back and front paws. Her back legs pushed her forward as fast as physically possible, and soon she was nose to nose with him. Smiling, with a short leap she had his nose parallel to her shoulder. Then to her chest. Then came the inevitable. Looking back to see where he was, she did not see the root coming towards her. When her front paws came down, a root was there, and her leg faltered before she tumbled to the ground. Skidding a short distance, she left a mark of exposed dirt and scarce grass as well as a wave of leaves flying before her.

Aphea wondered aimlessly through the dense woods. Although she was in such a foul mood, she still slunk in the shadows, almost blending into the background itself, following her instinct.
But, she knew something was wrong. She felt it. Suddenly, it clicked in her brain.
Why does it smell like so many wolves here? She wondered.
She padded along even more carefully now, and hoped no one had spotted her before when she was being "careless". Her bright green eyes scanned all around her, ever watching, though now, every shadow seemed to move. The wind whispered through the trees, sounding like steady breathing.
She didn't always be so wary of strangers, but her past left more scars on the inside than her long, white scar residing on her face now. That scar had put her through so much, marking her as an outsider.
It was always something back there. She thought to herself. Even to the point of death.
Aphea stopped to look at the moon shining through a gap in the trees, not exactly knowing why. She had to let go of her past, she knew. It sucked so much energy out of her these days, and made her feel hopeless. She let out a sigh, resting her weary body for a moment.
But that could have been her fatal mistake.

Falco's tongue laid out the side of his mouth, the hunter was tired and soon felt Silver catching up to him. It wasn't long before she passed him and was headed off. He barked to say "Watch out for the-" It was too late, Silver tripped over the root and was flying through the air. Falco pulled his tongue back in and adrenaline pulsed through his body and took off a great deal faster after to Silver. By this time she was skidding along the dirt and came to an abrupt stop. Leaping the root Falco dug his paws back into the ground sliding to a stop beside Silver. The adrenaline still pulsed through his body and he nudged Silver worriedly, and spoke softly "Silver.... Silver are you Okay?". He nudged her side again with his nose, hoping that she was alright.

Silver shot to her feet, standing and looking for what tripped her. Seeing the root, she laughed, rolling her eyes at her idiocy. "I'm fine. Practiced stunt. Don't try that at home. " She laughed, shaking the leaves from her pelt.

Falco was shocked at the speed Silver got to her paws and fell backwards loosing his balance. He smiled weakly as she seemed to look for what had been the cause of the trip. That's when she replied "I'm fine. Practiced stunt. Don't try that at home. " He smiled again and laughed lowly, still a little shocked at the speed she gotten to her paws, he shook his head and stumbled to his paws once more.

As he did he a smell filled his nose, it was a stranger smell... Someone new, Someone not careful enough to recognise that this was a pack territory. Looking to Silver with a frown he spoke looking towards the wind again "D'you smell that?" His ears perked and he was frozen looking in the direction of where the smell came from.

(Meaning Aphea, as the smell ;) hehe)

Aphea suddlenly felt strange. She knew that wolves were coming closer because scents were getting stronger. Though, she couldn't tell which direction they were coming from, for the wind was not blowing in her favor. She turned circles, trying to calm herself down from the panic that was setting in. But, she knew better than to start running. The new wolves would hear her, and she couldn't go back from the direction she came.
She stuck out the wait, wondering if she could possibly go unnoticed by the wolves.
Stay still, for the eye can trick some, and hopefully smell can too. She thought to herself.

(Hopefully not in a bad way! xD)

Karma's ears pricked as Kira came over and announced that Rune needed herself and Derek, then went to find Soran. Dipping her head to the Selene and Aisha, she apologised for leaving them on such short notice. Rising, she trotted off to where she saw Rune. "You called?"

Aisha nodded and turned, slinking off into the trees. Her coat made her blend into her surroundings. Her pelt brushed the pines, and she remembered the night she had set out to find Darren, Royce and Cole in her father's territory. She smiled to herself and laid down, once deep enough into the trees. Everything was silent, except for her steady breathing and the quiet songs of birds far off. She laid her head down between her paws, licking her muzzle before she closed her eyes and rested quietly, drifting off into dreams of her past...

Dekona smelled and saw Aisha.She wanted at least one friend.The lonely scout padded to Aisha.She dipped her head and smiled."I'm Dekona."She said.She may leave."I'm useless.No friends,no one ever needs me."She said sadly to Aisha.

Aisha's eyes snapped open and her legs tensed. She relaxed slightly once she saw it was a member of the pack, the scent was. She slowly stood up and listened to what the she-wolf said. "Everyone has a purpose in life." She said yawning tiredly, shaking her head to push away the sleepiness. "Everyone has to find their place in the world, and it takes time to make friends, you can't just make friends in a blink of an eye." She told her, "What's your name?" She said after a moment.

Selene watched slowly as everyone seemed to disperse. She lowered her ears, glancing around nervously; once again the forest felt so empty and alone. She rose to her paws and trotted off silently, keeping her gaze on the trees ahead of her. She found her thoughts drifting back to her sister as she made her way back to the den. Parting with Rhea had hurt, but she knew she would not have stayed in the pack forever. There had been no purpose for her to, really. Selene looked up, spotting the clearing of the den through the dense woods; quickening her pace. The brown she-wolf trotted over to the other side of the clearing and settled down under a tall pine tree. She sighed, she didn't know if she would be able to make it back to the den on her own, she had taken so many twists and turns.

Soran broke away from the herd, seemingly satisfied with his short burst of energy. Feeling exhausted and drained, the male padded away from the hunting grounds to look for a place to rest. The forest shade felt cool and welcoming as he entered the thick foliage and slowed to a walk. Paws tired, he flopped down under the shade of a nearby pine and let out a content breath. Water from the westward creek gurgled in the distance, and a light breeze tugged the leaves from their branches, sending them swirling into the sky. The atmosphere had changed dramatically in the past few weeks as Summer quickly changed to Autumn; and a new wave of loners had made their way into the territory. The sudden changes were overwhelming and the Delta felt comfort in solitude, away from the usual life of the pack.

Maiara sat entirely still, her eyes fixed on the canopy, watching as leaves spiralled down in the colors of a fiery sunset. With the members who were recovering, and excitement still whirling in her head from her conversation with Rune a week ago, she had felt the need for a moment's seclusion. So she'd come here, a small clearing a little ways away from the densite where she often came to think. But today she hadn't come to think. She had come for the stillness in the air that made her feel as though time had no power over her. It made her feel like she could sit there for hours, gazing at the falling leaves and return to the den site to find it just as she'd left it. But a few meters away the stillness was disturbed, and the spell was broken. The expirenced female remained frozen where she was, but flicked her eyes quickly over to the source of the disturbance. A rustle of the brown leaves that covered the ground alerted her to it. A small brown hare, its coat beginning to whiten in anticipation of the coming winter months, at which time its white coat would allow it to blend into the snowy landscape. But at the moment, its tinted coat brought it no safety. Maiara ducked quickly into a crouch and leapt at the hare. She had caught it entirely off guard, and it faltered before springing into a run. Unfortunately for the hare, the sandy alphess was just as light on her feet as it was, and within no time she had it in her jaws. She snapped its neck quickly, ending its fearful quivering, smiling through the brown and white fur as its blood seeped into her mouth. But something still baffled her, and she set her prey down a moment and shifted it so it faced her. Both eyes were clouded with blindness, appearing a misty blue through the film. She wasn't sure why, but it bothered her. Turning its head back away she ate it quickly buried it benath a crackling blanket of brown leaves. Frowning, she made her way back to the den site. On the way, however, she encountered the form of a familiar wolf, splayed out under the shards of shadow of a pine tree. Swiftly, her frown transformed into a grin, and she sat down beside him.
"So Soran, how are you holding up? You look much better than the last time I saw you," she said happily, glad to see that her old friend was recovering from the illness he'd been suffering. It had made her stomach churn to see Soran at his weakest, the angles of his ribs sticking out from his pelt. She never enjoyed seeing others so helpless, and the sight of the delta male regaining some of his own strength and muscle brought her a sense of relief.

(Sorry for taking so long to post again. I was busy a few days, and then suddenly poof! I had 20 pgs of rp to read.)

Silver's ears perked when she caught the scent of another loner wandering nearby, curiosity soon bested her and she took a step onto the paw that had hit the root and before she knew it, the joint gave out under the weight and she found herself on her face in the leaves. Groaning in irritation, she should have known she would pay for her idiocy. Standing up and hopping forwards awkwardly on three legs, she ended up right behind the female. Putting her paw on the ground to try to mask her current weakness, she barked to the female. It was hard to not show she had hurt herself, however, as a small trickle of blood flowed down her paw from a short and shallow scratch. It stood out defiantly on her grey paw.

"Greetings, what is your business here at the Banishing Winds Pack?" She asked, trying in vain to flick off the crimson stain.

The sound of something moving nearby alerted Selene, she scanned the area ahead of her, becoming slightly nervous.

"Greetings, what is your business here at the Banishing Winds Pack?" She asked, trying in vain to flick off the crimson stain.

Selene jumped to her feet as a voice sounded from behind her. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest; she had been caught by surprise. She studied the white female for a moment. She seemed to be a decently large wolf, at least slightly bigger than herself. Though she knew the she-wolf was strong she seemed it wasn't strongest point.

Selene opened her mouth, after chatting with the other members of the pack for a while she had - for the most part - grown out of her awkwardness. She spoke with confidence, "Rune's allowed me stay until I get better." She glanced down at her thin state and her torn pads. Her scramble to get up had caused them to start bleeding again. Selene looked back up at the female. "I'm Selene. May I ask, who may you be?"

Silver suddenly felt embarrassment scratch at her. The female had joined? The thought of her idiocy made her feel, well, like an idiot. She pinned her ears. Nice one, make yourself look like an air head in front of the new member... She thought. It was around 30 seconds before she remembered the female had asked for her name.

"I'm Silver Moonlight. "

Falco caught up to Silver and saw that she had met a new member of the pack. Stepping out from behind her he smiled softly and looked to the new female, Silver spoke "I'm Silver Moonlight. " then added in quickly as soon as Silver finished "And I'm Falco". Thats when the smell of blood hit Falco's nose, turning his head towards the scent he saw blood trickling down Silver's paw. The hunter then whispered "You sure you're okay?" he nodded to her paw.

"Yes, I'm fine, it's just a minor sprain and a cut that hit a small vein in my paw. Once we get back to the den I'll get herbs and those such things to help it's healing. " Silver said, trying to sound as expert as possible. She smiled at the new female. "Well, welcome to the pack then. I'll be at the den if you decide to trip over something too. " She said, with a humorous tone.
