Falco shot to his paws like lightening and stuttered "Really? You truly mean you will-" he barked excited and ran in a small circle. A huge grin swept over his face and he leapt on Silver happily tugging her ear. He was gentle though knowing she was still injured. He nuzzled her cheek and sat sti grinning happily. His ta thumped hard on the ground behind him expressing his sudden burst of energy and happiness, as he stared into Silver's eyes Hoping she was as excited as he was.

A wide smile spread on silver's face, and instantly the sadness was swept away by a wave of joy. She was then tackled to the ground by an over excited Falco, and her green eyes began to shine and glitter like stars in a lime green sky.

Falco rolled over onto his back playfully looking up at the starry night sky. A grin still covered his face. He looked over to silver who also seemed to be looking at the sky. Relaxing he stared up at the sky loosing his thoughts in the stars, thinking blissfully about what Silver had said and replacing the moment that she had said 'yes' over and over in his head.

Silver stretched her paws in front of her, obscuring her view of the crescent globe that was the moon in the sky. Her eyes drifted to Falco, and something stirred in her, and stood. She trotted to his side, then sat down. She laid on her side, then rolled onto her back, her long white and grey fur brushing against him. A faint smile of contentment slowly spread on her muzzle, she couldn't help but feel happy.

"Thank you. " She whispered.

Falco's ears twitched as he heard Silver coming to his side, that hadn't distracted his thoughts; it was a whispered "thank-you" that had. It made him wonder what she was saying thankyou for, was it his understanding of her past? Or was it something to do with their future, anyway Falco accepted it. His grey eyes reflected the lights of the stars and glistened, his eyes full of joy. He rolled gently to his side and laid his head on Silver's chest gently.

Queen shifted her paws slightly losing her balance before slipping into the leaves again, her orbs closed as she hit the ground to a thump. Her auds perked to hearing exchanges of words. S-S-Silver... would you like to be my mate" said Falco, her auds perked high she just hearing the faint sounds of them, Really? You truly mean you will-" she heard Falco bark. Her eyes pinned down, I believe I've just lost another friend.. she huffed lowly, her body lowered to the ground as her orbs closed.

Corlissa yawns a bit looking around. 'What is there to do ?' She gets up walking to the den area looking at everyone. She slowly sits down rolling on her back looking at the sky. 'Beautiful day.'-

Silver woke slowly, the light of the morning sun filtering through the trees and blinding her with it's warmth and light for a moment. It was cool that day, and the trees around her bustled with the various wildlife's preparations for the fast approaching winter. Leaves of all the autumn colors surrounded her, giving the forest a healthy, tan-like glow. Yawning and stretching, she remembered what had happened yesterday and looked to see Falco's head on her chest. Smiling contentedly, the gently rose without making his skull smack the ground. She then silently trotted into the forest, with the intention of coming back in a few minutes with a heart breakfast of rabbits.

Falco feltthe warmth of the sun on his back and continued to sleep. He shifted his body uncomfortably as Silver had got up and left his head to fall to the ground. Rolling to his back and with a big sigh he relaxed once more and continued to sleep soundly, a light snore drifted from his muzzle with every breath. This was paradise.

Selene made her way through the thick undergrowth. Her steps were slow and her paws dragged slightly as she walked. Her day had exhausted her and all she wanted to was some time to rest a little. All her traveling was seeming to catch up with her, hitting her like a brick wall. The brown wolfess made her way towards the den, hoping to find some comfort there.
Selene entered the den clearing and went over to one of the pine trees. Sighing, she laid down in it's roots, curling her tail around herself. Yawning she laid her head down on her paws to watch the activity going on around her.

Crimzen walked silently through the cool plains, the refreshing wind pulled his fur in many different directions. Forcing strands to curve and twist in many angles, the male shook his head feeling the wind flow into his ears. His head was high, his Crimson eyes shone with admiration, maybe, this will be his forever home. Where he would have many friends, and be surrounded by those that really cared for him. No longer will others glare at him, with there sharp, beady eyes, where they would turn the other cheek, ignoring his attendance altogether. Crimzen's head dropped half way, to his chest, memories of those days pounded a dent into his courage, and he often swallowed his pride.

A land once imprisoned in winter's icy grip is beginning to be released. Frigid snows that once covered the bracken ground are melting. Air so cold that breath seemed to freeze has been blown away. The dark clouds that lurked ever presently on the horizon have gone. In their place, new presences emerge. Soft swaying new blades of grass sprout between the trees. The occasional warm breeze winds its way through the branches, stirring them quietly. The sun comes out to occasionally peek between wispy clouds. Animals long in hibernation are emerging, blinking their eyes at the light and yawning. A once quiet land becomes musical with the sounds of new life. Whether this life is birds twittering or squirrel's chattering noisily, it is there. And perhaps more life to come, in the approaching Spring.

Rune cast his eyes out toward the wide circled unprotected by the trees as he watched the rainfall gently from the sky. The image brought about a peaceful serene feeling and it aloud his thoughts to drift back toward the packs journey as they returned to the main den. The trip itself went rather well and the pack had been lucky to go without any mishaps, but during the journey back, they had lost a few members. As they probably decided at the last moment that this was no longer the pack for them or some other event called them away or forced them to depart. Although Rune hated the thought of losing any member apart of him seemed almost happy the pack was thinning out a bit...especially when new life would be entering the pack. In the end having less wolves around just seemed to benefit many things now days.

Evenly Rune drew in a breath and then let it flow back out softly as his tail flickered behind him freely. Soon orders would need to be issued as much still needed doing. The pack needed a meal, territory needed to be checked and reclaimed, and the den needed a bit of work.

(Oh, this was awful...though you guys get the point of what needs to be done.)

Soran’s paws stuck slightly in the soft earth as he followed close pace to his brother, only stopping when he had done the same. Though the journey had been a long one, the result was satisfying, even if they had lost few members on the path. Even with aching paws, the male yearned to sprint away from the arriving wolves and beyond to the hunting grounds, but there journey would not end just there. With so much to do, and precious time, Soran would need to remain by the Alpha’s side until all had settled.

Soran’s nose began to quiver as new scents and sights began to register. The scent of freshly sprouted grass and buds; warming rain, and a soft breeze that stirred his thinning winter pelt. Though the spell of cold air had been comforting following summer, there was relief in warmer weather; the time for new life to begin. Flicking his tail with mild interest, Soran cast a glance at his brother that seemed almost amused. He knew Maiara was due to have pups, and the thought of his brother as a paternal figure made him chuckle ever so slightly.

Shaking his head, Soran nodded towards the open territory in front of him as if nothing had happened. As a hunter, he knew he would be out there leading his fellow wolves into chase against tastier prey that had migrated along with them; but as a Beta, he was unsure of his duty other than accepting and directing.

Spirit followed the pack slowly, her paws treading lightly across the soft ground. She had enjoyed winter - always really enjoyed the cold months - but the warmth the accompanied the return of spring warmed her. It felt nice to be walking underneath the trees again, a warm breeze blowing through her fur and buds beginning to grow on the branches of trees and bushes. Spring was a time for new life, a time to rejoice in the start of a new year and all it had to offer.

The scents swirled around Spirit as she came to a halt a short distance behind Rune and Soran. She gazed around at the territory, it all seemed so... different. She had been here before though only for a brief time before the pack left for the winter den. She shook her fur, stretching one of her limbs carefully. With the pack returning to the den there would be lots of tasks that needed to be completed. Spirit flicked her tail behind her, waiting for some kind of order on what she should do.

Soran’s ears flickered to the side as he heard the sound of paw steps against much approaching from behind. He recognized the scent immediately even before he saw the flash of white fur that was Spirit. She must’ve been following close behind, though where the rest of those who had journeyed with them remained a mystery. A grin tugged at his muzzle as he turned away from Rune and padded over in her direction. Stopping only few inches away, he nudged her muzzle with his and gave her good ear a quick tug.

Remembering what Rune had instructed him only days before departing to the Summer Den, Soran released her ear and took his turn to speak. “If you’re looking for something to do, why not lead the scouts around the territory and reclaim what we lost?” He offered, shifting his paws out from the sinking muck beneath them. “Is that not the job for the leader of the scouts?”

(That was terribly lame)

Spirit flicker her ears, turning her head as Soran approached her. A small smile pulled at her muzzle as he nudged her muzzle, tugging gently on her good ear. She suppressed a chuckle, swatting gently at him with her paw as he released he ear. It felt good to have spring return to the territory once more. Without the tension of winter and its challenges hanging over everyone's heads it would give the members a chance to relax and enjoy the subtle peace of spring. Of course there is work to be done. Spirit reminded herself. Many tasks still needed to be dealt with before the pack could truly rest.

Soran's words made Spirit stop for a moment. They baffled her, how was she to lead the scouts when she herself was simply one of them. Glancing at her surroundings the words finally clicked. She was Lead Scout? Just like that? She shifted her gaze back to Soran, brightening up as she swelled with joy at the news. Her tail wagged slowly behind her. "I... I'd be glad to." She stuttered, her mind still racing. Spirit remained still for a moment, trying to pull herself together.

The green grass felt good under Altair's paws. It was so good to be in spring again even though winter's clutches still had yet to completely disappear. The ginger-and-white brute stopped short of Rune. His leader seemed to be thinking of the work that still had to be done. Altair stepped forth until his head was close to Rune's shoulder. At the other territory, he did not have time to speak with the alpha but now would be better than never.

"Rune? I'm sorry for not telling you about Kira and I but you caught me off guard." The mottled male lowered his rump and put his tail between his legs just to show submission towards Rune.

Maiara made her way over to a tree and sat for a spell. Her belly was growing and she was admittedly feeling self concious. Having always been a slender wolf it was awkward for her to have even this slight bit of extra weight. She couldn't imagine how it would be when she was fully pregnant and she would be waddling around like an overstuffed elk, stomach bulging out from under her. It surprised her that even such a small thing as the added weight would invoke her vanity so strongly, but perhaps that was part of the process as well.

Every emotion she felt was so much more strong, and all the more wild and uncontainable. On this road towards becoming her mother she could feel the traits that she prided herself so much on were becoming skewed and unreachable. Her ability to hold her own and protect herself would be harder with a full belly, making her awkward. Her cool demeanor through which she could control her emotions was strained as her hormones took themselves on a road trip, leaving her blissfully cheerful one moment, depressed a minute later, furious for a second, and then suddenly craving berries and venison. And she thanked the world for Kira who already had been so helpful. It hurt her knowing that while she raised her pups and watched them grow she would be indisposed to help her pack.

But still the idea of pups thrilled her, tiny little bundles of fur making mischief and learning all about the world, and the pack. They would be taught how to hunt, and their siblings would teach them how to play and socialize. They would prance around with tiny paw pads and make mistakes, and decisions...

Maiara sighed softly in contentment. Rising to her feet she made her way towards Rune, taking care to place her paws carefully on the ground. She refused to be defeated by pregnancy. The pups might have won the battle of her weight, but they could not touch her elegance. Maiara downright refused to waddle. After a few steps, thankfully she realized that she wouldn't have to worry about an awkward gait just yet, and proceeded as normally as ever, closing the distance and sitting by Rune, next to whom were Altair, Soran and Spirit. She grinned at the pair, still excited for herself and for the pack, the knowledge that she was going to have children still sinking in. After all they wouldn't just be her pups, they would belong to the pack too.

(I know, pups are fun even before birth! xD)

Silver moved through the forest fluently, a renewed vigor in each step as the trotted through the trees. Weaving an intricate pattern, she felt freedom in each step, with no snow to hold her down. Her neck was high, her eyes gleamed, and joy streamed through them like a ravine. A smile plastered on her face, she continued to move fluently. Pups! More bundles of joy and love on the way. Nothing like 5 pounds of puppy-love jumping about one like it has wings settled upon each foot. Such things reminded her of the golden times, when she was young and fuzzy and played about without fear. Except for, with amusement now, Incendiu whom had intimidated her. She grinned at the thought, she had irritated him at times back then with her lack of seriousness. Memories played in her mind, fluttering even in her eyes.

Seeing Maiara just barely not waddling not far off, the fae shot forward, galloping and throwing newly grown moss into the air. As the female approached, however, with kindness glimmering inside of her she slowed. She then was walking, slowly, stopping and taking a seat beside her.

"Hello Maiara!" She said excitedly, smiling at her. "Trying not to do the penguin-walk, I see. " She noted, grinning exuberantly in amusement. "Don't be offended, I just always found that gait amusing. And, of course, tiring. Besides my twisted humor, how is motherhood going for you?" She finished her sentence, excitement burning brightly in the small female.

Upon hearing, a slight familiar chuckle Rune turned his head to see his brother Soran and then Spirit, as they appeared right behind him. "Find something funny do you Soran?" He questioned as a smile made its way onto his muzzle and he shifted positions until he faced his brother and Spirit. The question itself was soon forgotten as Rune nodded his head in greeting toward the two wolves and then turned his attention over toward Altair who had recently appeared and now took a submissive position in front of Rune.

"Rune? I'm sorry for not telling you about Kira and I but you caught me off guard."

His words seemed sincere enough and Rune took note of this just before he cleared his throat to respond. “No damage was done, but like I said before I suggest neither of you keep such things from me next time.” He finished just before Maiara appeared at his side.

(I know the last part makes no sense, but eh...it happens.) XD

Motherhood? So Rune and Maiara were to be parents. A feeling of warmth for the two made Altair's heart glow. They definitely deserved to have pups of their own and it was about time they did. Perhaps next year he and Kira would have the same joy brought into their lives that only pups could bring. The male chuckled at the thought. It would be interesting to see how he fared when it came to having children of his own someday. Maybe in the fall he'd bring the subject up with Kira so she could think about it for the winter.

The brute walked over to Silver and took a seat beside her. Something compelled him to look into her eyes and he felt his own pale amber eyes widen. Were those? No, they couldn't be. It wasn't possible. But, there they were. The evidence that he couldn't deny. Did she notice yet? He couldn't be sure.

"Silver? Do you realize you have cataracts in both of your eyes?" He asked in a low voice so only she could hear.

Maiara was getting fat.

Elysia knew she should be nicer - even if she wasnt saying anything. She shouldnt even be thinking such unkind thoughts about her alpha female! Maiara had been nothing but kind to Elysia, a perfect role model. She was beautiful and graceful - or at least she used to be. Now she was fat, and she waddled awkwardly. Yet, everytime anyone saw her - they smiled and acted so overjoyed. Elysia didnt quite get it. Then again, she hadnt really been herself lately. The seasons had shifted, bringing Spring warmth to chase away the Winter chill. Elysia, for one, was glad. Her short fur had made Winter close to being unbareable for her. And the whole near-freezing fiasco hadnt gone over too well. But there was more than weather occupying Elysia's thoughts. Gale. He had returned, begging forgivenes from Rune. Elysia had wanted him gone, to chase him away and make him know what it felt like to have everything he once thought he understood - destroyed. Rune hadnt accepted him, but he hadnt sent him away either. Gale lurked, like a bad dream that wouldnt fade into memory.

Gale just stayed on their territory. Eating their prey. Being lazy. He was probably going to get fat soon, like Maiara. Elysia's thoughts were now brought back to her alpha female. She sat slightly away from the group, watching Rune, Maiara, Soran, Spirit, Silver and Altair. They all seemed so happy. Why was obesity something to rejoice at? Did Spirit and Silver think that Maiara was now somehow more beautiful? Did they want to be fat too? Elysia wasnt sure she agreed, Maiara was much prettier a few pounds lighter. Elysia twitched her ears. The entire thing was quite confusing. Snippets of phrases reached her ears.

"How is motherhood going for you?"

Motherhood? Suddenly it hit Elysia. More than feeling foolish, Elysia felt ashamed. Maiara wasnt fat. Well technically she was. But she had a reason to be overweight. She was pregnant. Elysia was quite glad she hadnt voiced her opinion aloud, as well as being glad that Spirit and Silver werent going to be fat too - unless they decided to have pups. Elysia doubted there would be more than one litter though. At the thought of puppies, Elysia's eyes lit up. Little Runes and Maiaras scampering around. They were sure to be adorable. Elysia stood, bounding over to the small group. Her eyes were alight. For the first time since Gale had appeared in their lives, Elysia looked like herself.

Gale had meant to leave as soon as he finished his speech to the Banishing Winds. All of his morals told him that he had done the correct thing by leaving for those two weeks but something was nagged at the back of his mind for him to return. Many different things made his sleep hard to come by and therefore, he felt that if he addressed the pack once more, his conscious would finally allow him to drift off. Then again, if he did not completely right his wrongs, the warrior may never be able to quell all the beasts inside of him.

Grass sprung up with each pawstep he took. The change from cold snow and ice to warm grass and dirt was a welcomed one. Goodbye to all the nights of freezing weather and blistering winds and hello to the warm spring air and calm nights. This was the season of which pups were being brought into this world. He knew that Maiara was now expected due to the faint change in her scent. Gale couldn't help but be pleased. He genuinely liked Maiara, not only because she was able to hold her temper, but because she was willing to give him a chance.

A light breeze caused the warrior's long coat to billow out around him and for a moment he basked in it. But the gust of wind also brought with it a darker scent. Blood. He inhaled deeply, locating the direction of which the scent originated and of whom it may belong to. Fortunately, he could not place the smell; he knew it was not one of the pack's wolves. It may have been a loner.

Usually, Gale wouldn't have bothered to track a scent he didn't know or didn't have a purpose with but something was compelling his paws to move onward. Faster and faster he went, veering off of the course he had so carefully set. The Banishing Winds could move out of his grasp forever, but something told him this was far more important. And that instinct was correct.

Before his massive, tan paws sat a pup. There was a wound in its head but it didn't seem to deep though he was no expert on treating injuries. The pup was a female with a coat made of creams, greys, light browns, and beige. White was visible on her tiny paws, ears, and somewhat exposed belly. Light blue eyes seemed to hold confusion. Did she know where she was? He'd have to find out.

"Hey there," Gale lowered himself until he was laying on his belly. The pup was just in front of his paws. "Are you alright? Where's your mother?"
